Playground
Opulent and luxurious, the 950 square foot Playgrounds are the largest bedrooms in the House. The huge windows on both sides of these corner rooms flood the space with daylight, while a blend of Eastern and Western influences creates an eccentric and grand interior.
When drawn, the velvet curtain dividing the room form a separate living area ideal for entertaining guests, complete with a dining table and guest bathroom. The three Playgrounds have been individually designed, each with a different look and style. Guests may even choose their bed design – Indian mahogany, Venetian silver or a four-poster with sumptuous silk canopy in a traditional French design.
Behind the glass and steel divider walls are George Smith mohair velvet covered sofas with antique wallpaper, Moroccan pouffes and thick Tibetan rugs. Egg-shaped baths have made their way into the bedrooms and are placed in front of huge 8 foot high Venetian mirrors, adding to the fun of bathing.
